Best Snippets From Dynaneshwari.. Worth Reading...

Equanimity Towards Happiness And Sorrow One should not feel ecstasy by happiness nor feel aggrieved by sorrow. Neither should one think about gains and losses. One should not keep thinking in advance about whether one would win or die in this war. One should quietly accept whatever comes to his lot while acting according to Swadharma. Actions performed with this attitude do not lead to any blemish, therefore Arjuna go and fight with determination.

By following this yoga of intellect you do not miss the worldly pleasures and at the same time you are also assured of liberation. As mentioned earlier in connection with Swadharma, one should perform one's duties but without bothering about the fruits of his actions. He who is endowed with this attitude of performing his duties without the desire of the fruits thereof becomes immediately free of all encumbrances (of birth and death).

An intellect which is not touched by the thoughts of sin or merit (i.e.desire lessintellect, because it is the desire that leads to worry about sin and merit.), which is extremely subtle and steady and not stained by the three attributes Sattva, Raja and Tama, destroys the fear of the material
world if it illuminates the mind even slightly, by virtue of the merit of earlier births.

Righteous and base intellects Even if this righteous intellect were to be present only slightly, it should not be considered as unimportant. This righteous intellect which leads one towards God, is very rare. (2:238-239). This unique righteous intellect in the world has no other goal than
attainment of God. All other types of intellect are corrupted intellects which are affected by passions and in which persons without discrimination get enraptured. Therefore Arjuna, such persons without discrimination may attain heaven, earth or hell but never the bliss of the Self.

These persons establish the greatness of Vedic rituals quoting the Vedas in support, but perform them with the desire of fruits in mind. They say that one should be born on this earth, perform the rituals like yajna and then enjoy the consequent pleasures of heaven. (2:245-246). They perform all the rituals rigorously as prescribed but they do one unfortunate thing. By
keeping the goal of pleasures as heaven they forget the very God in whose name they conduct the rituals. (2:249-250). Like cooking excellent food and then selling it for money, they sell the Dharma for the benefit of pleasure. Therefore I say that people who spend their time in debating on the meaning of the Vedas shelter a corrupted intellect.

Attributes of the Veda constituents Vedas (which comprise of Samhitas, Brahmanas, Aranyakas and Upanishads) are definitely associated with the three attributes Sattva, Raja and Tama. Upanishads and other philosophical works should be considered as having the Sattva attribute. The rest, which discuss rituals and other exercises for attainment of heaven have the Raja and the Tama attributes. Therefore they are the cause of pleasure and sorrow and you should not harbour them in your mind. Discard these three attributes, do not speak of "I" and "mine" and keep the bliss of the Selfrealisation firmly in your mind. (2:256-259).

Though Vedas tell many things and suggest many rituals, you should choose only that which is beneficial for you. After deep thinking I came to the conclusion that it is proper for you to avoid evil deeds and perform actions as prescribed in the Shastras (scriptures) but without the desire for fruits thereof. Do your duty as per your own Dharma with a desireless attitude. (2:260-266). But when you are fortunate enough to have achieved success, do not get exhilarated by it nor feel sorry if for some reason you are not successful. If whatever work which was undertaken reaches completion then it is fine but if it does not, then also it is all right. (2:268- 269).

Whatever work we do, when its offering is made to God, then automatically it becomes complete. (2:271). A balanced attitude of mind towards both successful and unsuccessful actions is hailed as the best state of Yoga. Equanimity of mind, where mind and intellect work together, is the essence of yoga.

He who, being bereft of feelings of happiness and sorrow, remains absorbed in the Supreme Self
should be considered as a person of stable insight (Sthitapradnya). And he who is in complete.
Therefore Arjuna, he who leaves all desire of pleasures, controls his organs and is not allured by the sense-pleasures is alone worthy of the trust set by yoga i.e. steadiness of intellect. Such a person has the knowledge of the Self and never forgets me. (2:315-317). [Note: Shri Krishna presents himself henceforth as Supreme Soul].

On the other hand, he who outwardly gives up sense-objects but keeps on thinking about them must be considered as being entangled only in the materialistic world. (2:318). A slightest trace of desires remaining in the mind destroys discretion. (2:320). Mere memory of these sense-pleasures creates desire for them in the mind of even a detached person. Passions
then arise in the mind and where there is passion there is also anger. Anger leads to thoughtlessness. Thoughtlessness leads to loss of memory and then the intellect is engulfed by the darkness of ignorance. The intellect then suffers and loses direction. Thus, the loss of memory leads to confused intellect and this in turn destroys all knowledge. In this way, even
occasional memory of the sense-pleasures can lead to such downfall.

Therefore, when these sense-pleasures are totally removed from the mind, anger and hate are automatically destroyed. When anger and hate are destroyed then even if the organs become engaged in the sense-pleasures they do no harm. (2:321-332). Such a person is detached towards senseobjects, free of desire and anger and remains engrossed in the bliss of the
Self. (2:334). He who thus remains absorbed in the Self may be considered without doubt to have a stable intellect.

Be Cheerful Worldly sorrows do not enter a cheerful mind. (2:338). How can a person feel unhappy when his heart is cheerful? The mind of such a person remains naturally focused on God. Like a flame in windless air, that person with stable intellect achieves the yogic state and becomes united with Brahman.te control of his sense organs, should be considered as a person of stable intellect.

My Birthday

It was 14-Sep (My Birthday) and due to "Anant Chaturdhashi" it was a busy day for "Ganesh Wisarjan"........ Since midnight the calls started... went up to the next day midnight... I was really happy throughout the day due to the blessings and wishes showered by Dear friends as well as elders.... I think throughout the day, I was on call for most of the time.... It landed me into a well wishers pool and have made me realized that there are so many people around you, looking after you and who cares for you.... There wasn't any country restrictions (Europe, US, Brazil and India)... Thanks a lot to all of them for their wishes....and Thanks to technology also which made it successful....

We normally say in Marathi, "Jase karma Tase Bhog".. Even scientifically, as per Newton's third law of Gravitation.... Each and every Force has got an equal and opposite reaction.... so let me assure to my family and friends (well wishers) that I am not worthy without you all, so how much you care for me, I care for all of you too...and will keep it doing in future...

About Birthday, since childhood, I was always having a question in my mind, why the Birthdays are getting celebrated... and what does it give you? Also where did our earlier generation celebrate their birthdays? Most of the people are not even knowing about their actual Birthdate and time so what did they loose? so what are the advantages that we are getting out of the celebration... here are the answers that I could reach for:

1. It is the landmark that every year you re-visit and retrospect in your past life and wishing for a better life ahead.
2. It showers you with all the greetings and wishes on the day which you can cherish for the next year.
3. When so many friends and relatives wish you on your birthday, it makes your attachment and support more strong.
4. It also plots a graph of your life and tells you where do you stand after so many number of years. We should assume it as an indication to learn from the past and plan for your future.
5. It makes you fell better and stronger to pursue your career aspirations.

Now there might be the flip side for the same, that people will say that you might do the same on any other day, but in the current busy schedules of each one of us, how much time that we can get out for ourselves.... Just think over it... So let this day be special for you so that you can get the glimpse of heavenly experience... Wish you all Belated Happy B'day.... :)

Assumptions Vs Presumptions

An assumption is not drawn from evidence; it is a hypothesis {my assumption can be tested by looking at the dictionary} where in A presumption implies a basis in evidence {the legal presumption of innocence}.

The topic relates much in our day to today life. The main reason to list down these details and to understand the significance of each of them is to judge what we do and we shouldn't. Assumptions Always misleads you in your life, presumptions always guide your properly. People should believe in themselves, on their own best judgment rather than anyone else. When someone tells you to do something, you better get it validated by yourself... Ask to the person directly, but being in suspicion not disclosing the reason or the cause of suspicion, doesn't help you....

We always say, Don't assume anything... Lack of communication or not understanding the significance of communication in your life always leads you to disarray. Always try to understand the other person with ease of communication and appreciate his efforts with whatever he does ... There is nothing wrong if you clarify your own understanding... This is not only required in your personal life but also in your professional life... Also generates respect for you in other person's mind.... I feel person should always have a tendency of keeping himself into other person's shoes and see the world outside.... so that the person will be able to understand the other person and world very well... and if he has the tendency to do the same always... it evolves a very good understanding nature in yourself, improves your personality also.. The person will never get irritated and will be satisfied always......

VapurZa

Wa. Pu. Kale......... Mr. V. P Kale..... Hats off to the person.... I was reading one of his book..... "VaPurZa"...... Truly awesome literature written and submitted by Mr. Kale.... I read this book during my college days and was quite impressed with the style that he has put through the book... Even I read this book very often... According to his philosophy an human being is more important than this materialistic word. life is a game of situations every individual has to enjoy it by some or the other way. Feelings are more important, you can win a situation but you will lose a person so give importance to feeling than situations..... Here I am just adding that to your acknowledgment...

You can turn on to any page and start reading from there... Although it contains beautiful and meaningful paragraphs from his previous books. It should be read as given on last page "this book should not be read from start to end, close the book and open any page and start reading". Many times I have found that even if I open the same page after 10-15 minutes it gives different meaning to the paragraphs. It goes like opening various chains of thinking in background. I love this book and suggest everybody should read I have read this book many times ..n especially it teaches u the science of living..!! U can just open any page in book n go on..!!

All the paragraphs are independent entities and like a short snippets having a great correlation.... I won't be mentioning all snippets here, as I would recommend you to read the whole book and have it in your collection... The author being very honest with the details and really putting all the true facets of life which an ordinary person try to avoid in day to day life.... It's really great to acknowledge all those details and appreciate them..... My earnest request to all of you... A must read book....You should take some time for this and should read the content through....

Don't Wait....

Let's make a better society together...

The first question that everyone will have is "How". Here is my earnest attempt to mention few gateways through which we can fulfill our objective, please read through the same and let us know your comments if you think of any better options. we are here to share the knowledge and details whcih will help ourselves:

Being a social person, I believe in social cause and think that we all should put our efforts towards unlifting our society in the global Economy. But the task does not get executed if is being asked to few friends or to some social group.... These initiatives should come from your inner self, which gives you a drive. I have seen many of my friends telling me that they didn't do anything over the week-end and took rest at home. My suggestion to you people is, one day you all can go out and have fun.. and the other day, you can reserve for your social cause. See most of the new generation folks have that drive, but don't seem to have the exact direction.
Driving without direction, lead you nowhere.. and you might land up into noman's land. Even we can not rely on Government, due to lot more corruption, very less transparency and irresponsible people at the desk. Now what should be alternatives? How will we be executing our social responsibility?

The first option whcih everyone can look for, is some NGOs which are already in operations these days. It's a huge list but here is the list that I am aware of which are operating in India with global reach whcih is mostly needed:

1. Asha Foundation (http://www.ashaf.org/)
2. Akanksha (http://www.akanksha.org/)
3. CRY (http://www.cry.org)

Now the question is how much reliable these organization are? How much should we trust on these? OR should we create a new one?

Now if you ask me, I will recommend you to join the existing NGO as you will have all the infrastrusture in place, so you don't have to spend more time exploring all the required infrastructure details.. You can really focus on your social cause.. ...Also to these organisation, nothing is mandated, so you are free to join and contribute, if you like, you can continue or you can discontinue....There are different way by which you can contribute.. Financially, Beign Physically Present, by sending your Team Members, etc... but I would prefer more if you could physically be present by yoruself...

To be continued.......

GorakshaNath Doctrine

While reading "Dnyaneshwari", I Found the following doctrine details which really explains you the good deal of teaching, hence writing by myself through the Book, putting them here for you all: Please take some time to go through it, it's bit difficult to interpret but do take more time to understand the significance of each one of the Word inside the details: Put some efforts, you will get something good things out of the same:
========================================================

The goal of human life is to eternalize real life and understand the real self, this can be done by transcending the lower self, which consists of the vital essence; the sexual Power the vital air and the mind. Each of the three must help to transcend itself by itself. Yet the control of second gives control of first and of the third, of the first two. the mind is controlled through contemplation, through the stoppage of its going out, Manas through intellectual analytic perception through analytic recitation, through the reversal of the normal activity til it transcends. Itself reaches the stage of Unmani self transcedence. This control is to be effected in the most natural manner with inborn facility or sahaja, by such control we shall rise into a supernatural state, which is void of the working of these three. but which is a positive state wherein the three higher powers, which are the essence of the higher self, Atma, reside, namely Divine music, Divine Joy and Divine Consciousness. Sat, Anand and Chit whcih are also called Word or Shabda, Union or Rasa and Amrita and Light or Jyoti. This is really a fourth state above those three states, where-in the vital breath, the sex and the mind works, each predominant in one or other of the three stages. By simple natural method of Kaivalya Kumbhaka (Prolongation of the period before intake of breath), physical, moral or mental, the vital air is controlled, by simple natural method of trying to repeat the word given by Guru and to listen tot he inner world (Ajapa Japa) the sex is controlled; and by simple natural method of stoppage or negation or emptying out of mental activity aided by physical, moral and spiritual contemplation( not meditation) the mind is controlled. when the mind sees and resides in the mind, when the mind and manasa, mental activity or desire, is absorbed in the mind when we arise above the pairs of opposites, physically, morally and intellectually and have Sama. Drishti, equal eyedness: then come to Asampragyata Samadhi and kaivalya Moksha, the absorption of teh self in the self beyond all dualism; the Sahaja-Samadhi, the natural Trance or easy inborn equilibrium the Turyatita stage, the fourth supramental state; the atita shunya, the supreme, Void which is not void. Is is the yoga of making teh Sutra, attention, rise through the magnetic aid of shabda imparted by the teacher, and heard within and unite with, merge itself in, the Supreme Self, Atma. It is Atma Jog, Atma Yoga, as charpet calls it. It is the internalistic Yoga, the yoga of the mind, wherein the mental and the moral equivalent of outer, external ceremonies, postures abd practices are to be found and observed. is is thus Siddhanta Yoga as kumbhari Bava called it and the yoga of the metaphysical essential truth. To practice it the control of sex is necessary; but such a mental yoga can be carried on even in married life by suitable and requisite abstinence. Medicancy and monastic life are not indispensable. there is no demand in this for rigorous Hath exercise or Tantrika sensualities or uddhistic self denials. it is kind of Raja yoga of upoonishad open to all calls requiring a mental or moral detachment. The true guru's air (Word) is indispensible for achieving what the followers of other paths achieve through difficult practices followed by constant self-abnegation abd profound contemplation. The Powers to work miracles, nine siddhis and twelve siddhis whcih accrue to a Jogi are mere temptations on the way. he must pass beyond the stage of s Siddha, who according to alberuni did not desire liberation. The goal of alchemy (rass, Tantrism and Hatha is not Goal of Gorakha who seeks to acquire the immortality of the spirit., not by the ebody, who drinks of the wine of the word (Shabda) and enjoys the spiritual union of Shiva and Shakti who discards the mere cauterization of the body, the temple of the spirit.

It's Life @ IT

Since long time, I was thinking about writing about this topic being in the same field for more than 7 Years now... it's IT... Information Technology...

Few days back only there were few flashing news talking about IT life and stress that People are having in the field...Also few Suicidal attempts that few IT professionals had done... Now as far as media is concerned, they just get away with emphasizing the fact the life is very stressful and due to which, people are prompted to do such attempts.... But looking at the actual roots.. Tell me a place or action where there is no stress, it's overall competition that is making it more worse....

So I feel, it's the perspective which is making a difference... In the corporate culture, everyone strives for a Sense of fulfillment and sense of Achievement through their work items. After you putting so much efforts and if there is no word appreciation.... it really hurts.. So make yourself ready to face the reality.... Few managers understand this aspect always inspires their team members and their subordinates too.. But few don't and expect more out of you... In this scenario, I really feel that everyone should be ready to have your manager realized the efforts that you have put in..... I will call this as Street Smartness..... See if person is not able to see what is around... then you will have to show it to them... there is nothing wrong that you are doing.. At least you will be able to understand his thoughts also if he is expecting more from you.... Try to be more expressive... Don't be shy to out your thoughts...

Another aspect in IT, which I feel important to talk about is, The correlation that people are making of your efforts against the money that you have been paid with. So if there is no appreciation, there is no sense of fulfillment ... I feel that the people who really work hard, they expect the word of appreciation as well as inspiration... these group of people value less for the money than their job satisfaction... Another group of people who really don't work and portray to be working, they always count the money as the measurement parameter... So being manager, I request other managers also to feel this difference... and act accordingly...

Note that as much as your work environment is more friendly, that makes a huge difference... and that is in your hands... Have a nice friend circle ... Value your work as well as your extracurricular activities... Apart from the job that you do, you should always have one activity of your interests going on... which makes your life more interesting....

As far as media is concerned, I hate when they talk about the IT field being more hectic and blah blah blah.... See each and every field has got the implications... How you see that is more important... If person values the work more than his life.. then the perspective should be changed.... We should show more inclination to accept the challenges in life.... Be ready to adapt yourselves... Let's reassure ourselves and make ourselves strong to represent our country in the global economy ... Appreciate your comments...
